国際連携教育課程制度(ジョイント・ディグリー・システム) International Joint Degree System
日本国内の大学と外国の大学等が、大学間協定に基づき連携して、両大学が連名で学位記を授与することができる教育課程。
同課程を編成・実施することができるのは、大学及び専門職大学の学部、大学院及び専門職大学院の研究科（ただし、法科大学院を除く）、短期大学、並びに専門職短期大学とされる。国際連携教育課程を運営する組織として、大学の場合、学部の下には学科（国際連携学科）を、大学院の研究科の下には専攻（国際連携専攻）を設けることができ、設置にあたっては、設置認可が必要となる。設置の要件の中には、連携する外国の大学等が、外国の学校教育制度において適切に位置付けられていることが求められている。
機関別に行われる大学評価においては、これらの教育課程が一機関内に収まるものでないことから、国際連携教育課程全体としての教育研究活動の状況を示す報告書を添付することが必要であると考えられている。

An academic program enabling Japanese and foreign universities and colleges to work together based on an inter-university agreement and issue diplomas in the names of both institutions.
University faculties, professional and vocational university faculties, graduate schools, professional graduate schools except for law schools, junior colleges, and professional and vocational junior colleges are able to organize and deliver such programs. Organizations may be established to manage international joint degree programs, with universities establishing a department (international joint department) within the faculty and graduate schools establishing a graduate department (international joint graduate department) within the graduate school; approval for the establishment of such organizations must be obtained. The requirements for establishment stipulate that the foreign partner institution must be positioned appropriately within the school education system of the country in which it is located.
As these academic programs are not confined to a single institution, a report indicating the condition of education and research activities across all international joint degree programs needs to be appended to university evaluations for individual institutions.
