別科 Special Course
高等学校を卒業した者又は同等以上の学力をもつと認められた者を入学資格とし、簡易な程度において特別の技能教育を施すことを目的として大学及び短期大学に設置することができる、修業年限を１年以上とする課程。留学生に対する日本語の別科、養護教諭養成のための別科等。
Special Course 別科
A program lasting at least one year that may be established by universities and junior colleges for the purpose of providing education in special skills. Admission is open to individuals who have graduated from high school and individuals who are recognized as having at least equivalent academic ability. Such courses include Japanese language special courses for international students and special courses for training school nurses.
