テニュア・トラック制 Tenure Track System
教員組織の活動の活性化を図るための措置として、若手研究者が自立した研究者としての経験を一定期間積んだ上で厳格な審査を実施し、その間の業績や教員・研究者としての資質・能力が高いと認められた場合に、任期を付さない職を与える仕組み。日本において2006年以降に文部科学省によって導入された。
Tenure Track System テニュア・トラック制
A mechanism introduced as a means of revitalizing the activities of academic staff organizations, under which young researchers who have built up experience as independent researchers over a certain period undergo rigorous review and are granted tenure (a position without a fixed term of employment) if they are deemed to have demonstrated a high level of achievement or excellent skills and abilities as an academic staff member and/or researcher during that period. In Japan, this system was introduced by MEXT in 2006.
