ディプロマ・サプリメント（学位証書補足資料） Diploma Supplement
高等教育機関が学位記等の高等教育課程の修了を証明する文書に添付する補足資料。進学や就職等のモビリティを円滑に進めるため、学生が取得した学位・資格等の情報について国内外において理解を深め、比較可能にすることを目的としている。欧州では欧州委員会、欧州評議会及びユネスコにより共同で標準的な様式が策定され、欧州各国の高等教育機関はこの雛型に沿って作成・発行することとされた。この標準的な様式では、学位・資格取得者の情報、学位・資格の基本情報や水準、修了した教育プログラム内容や学習成果、当該国の高等教育制度の概要等を記載することとされている。
Diploma Supplement ディプロマ・サプリメント（学位証書補足資料）
A supplementary document appended by higher education institutions to diplomas and other documents certifying the successful completion of a program of higher education. Its issuance is intended to facilitate mobility for work or further study by deepening understanding at home and overseas of information such as the academic degrees or qualifications earned by students and thereby making them comparable. In Europe, the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO jointly formulated a standard template, which higher education institutions throughout Europe use to prepare and issue diploma supplements. The information specified on this standard template includes information about the holder of the academic degree or qualification, basic information about the degree/qualification and the level thereof, the content and learning outcomes of the educational program completed and an overview of the higher education system in the country of issue.
