単位互換制度 Credit Transfer System
学生が自らの所属する大学等以外で履修した授業科目について修得した単位を、自らの大学等における授業科目の履修によって修得したものとみなす制度。学生が外国の高等教育機関で修得した単位の場合についても準用される。大学設置基準等によれば、大学では60単位まで、大学院では15単位、短期大学において２年制では30単位まで、３年制では46単位までが認められる。
Credit Transfer System 単位互換制度
A system under which credits earned by students for subjects taken at universities or colleges other than the one to which they belong are regarded as having been earned for subjects taken at their own institution. The same applies for credits earned by students at overseas higher education institutions. According to the Standards for Establishment of Universities and the standards for other institutions, up to 60 credits may be transferred for university’s undergraduate programs, up to 15 for graduate school programs, up to 30 for two-year junior college programs and up to 46 for three-year junior college programs.
