自己点検・評価 Self-Assessment
大学等が、自己の目的・目標に照らして教育研究等の状況について点検し、優れている点や改善すべき点等を評価して、その結果を公表すること。自己点検・評価は学校教育法においてすべての高等教育機関に義務づけられている。
Self-Assessment 自己点検・評価
The process in which universities and colleges review the condition of their education and research in light of their own objectives and goals, evaluate the areas of excellence and outline areas requiring improvement and publish the results. Under the School Education Act, all higher education institutions are obliged to carry out self-assessment.
