大学等が正規の学生以外の者を対象にして行う教育活動のひとつで、地域や産業界等のニーズに応じて学習の機会を提供する講演等を含む。通常、単位は授与されない。

This is a type of educational activity carried out by universities and colleges that targets individuals other than regular students and includes lectures offering learning opportunities tailored to the needs of the community or industry. Credits are not usually awarded for these courses.
