インターンシップ Internship
学生が在学中に、企業等において自らの専攻や将来のキャリアに関連した就業体験や社会貢献活動に参加することができる制度。インターンシップの単位認定を行っている大学等もある。なお、類義語として「エクスターンシップ」もあるが、これは主に法科大学院のカリキュラムとして一定期間実施される実務研修を指す用語として用いられている。
Internship インターンシップ
An approach to learning in which students are allowed to engage in practical work experience relevant to their future career. Some universities and colleges award credits for internships. The synonym “externship” is primarily used to denote a practical training program undertaken for a certain period as part of the law school curriculum.
