サバティカル Sabbatical
大学等に所属する教職員が、専門的能力の向上のために原則として定期的に通常の管理運営や教育等の業務を一定期間免除され、異なる研究機関等において研究、研修に専念する制度。
Sabbatical サバティカル
A system under which members of academic or administrative staff at universities and colleges are, in principle, periodically exempted from conducting their regular managerial or educational duties for a certain length of time and permitted to dedicate themselves to research or training, in order to improve their professional capabilities.
