学期 Academic Term
授業科目の授業を行う際に単位となる期間。大学設置基準では、十分な教育効果をあげることができるよう、８週、10週、15週その他の大学が定める適切な期間と規定されている
Academic Term 学期
The unit time period for the delivery of classes for a subject. The Standards for Establishment of Universities state that an academic term shall be 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 15 weeks, or other appropriate periods decided by the university in order to ensure an adequate educational effect.
